Attorney John Schul Burton, J.D., C.E.P. has the following credentials and affiliations:

  • Graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College;
  • Received his juris doctor from Regent University School of Law, where he focused his studies on estate planning, taxation and business transactions;
  • A member of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council, the Virginia Trusts and Estates Section and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys;
  • Recognized as a Certified Estate Planner with the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners;
  • An affiliate of the Hampton Roads Citizens' Committee to Protect the Elderly;
  • A founding member of the Hampton Roads Hospice Alliance;
  • Sits on the board of Crisis Pregnancy of Hampton Roads;
