Allison was born and raised in south-central Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor of Arts from Wilson College. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, receiving the Ronald L. Fick Book Award in the State Civil Pre-Trial Practice and Procedure class, concentrating on Virginia Procedure. During law school, Allison completed several internships in varying legal specialties. She first externed at J.S. Burton during her second year of law school and remained on staff throughout the duration of her degree and while preparing to sit for the Bar. She joined our team as an attorney in October 2022.
She focuses her practice in the areas of estate and trust administration, estate litigation, estate planning, asset protection planning, long-term care planning, guardianships and conservatorships, Medicaid qualifications, and elder law.
She considers it a privilege to come alongside families and counsel them through probate matters and creating estate plans to ensure their assets are protected for long-term care. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Allison has been an avid equestrian throughout most of her life and agrees with Rolf Kopfle who said, “There are many wonderful places in the world, but one of my favorite places is on the back of a horse.”
