Serving Those Who Have Served

According to data from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, there are somewhere around 733,000 veterans living in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Each and every one of these brave individuals deserves our heartfelt thanks for their willingness to lay down their lives for our protection and for the preservation and promotion of the values we hold dear as a country.

They also deserve every benefit we can give them as a token of our appreciation. Unfortunately, a lot of Veterans do not take advantage of the benefits they are due because they simply don’t know they exist.

At our firm, we work hard to make sure that the Veterans we are honored to call clients know what benefits are available to themselves and their families, and that they can take full advantage of the benefits they think would be most helpful.

We have helped numerous Veterans and their families navigate the intricacies of the Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Pension program. This program can provide thousands of tax-free dollars a year to help pay for the high costs of long-term care expenses (defined under the VA as unreimbursed medical expenses), but how much it pays depends on multiple factors. We help Veterans and the widows of Veterans gather the information they need to prove they qualify for this program, and then help them make the financial decisions necessary to increase the amount they are eligible to receive.

We have also advocated for clients that are struggling to get care from the VA, worked to prove up service-based disability claims, and helped ensure Veterans eligible for funeral and burial benefits get them.

It is our pleasure to work for those that have served our country so bravely. Wading through a flood of paperwork and going to battle against the most rigid and resistant bureaucrats is the least we can do to show our thanks.

If you or a loved one is a Veteran, and you have questions about what benefits are available to you, please contact us today. We offer a free initial consultation to those that are in need of our assistance.
